Business of Bows

Spring has nearly sprung and with that comes a flurry of whimsical feminine trends. Luella was one of the first designers to go all out with girly kitsch bows but this season prepare yourself, the bow is back.

Spring/Summer 11 saw Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, DKNY and Chanel all offering their own unique take of the bow. From well-placed pinned bows to jewellery and bags, the message was clear. Bows are no longer for the kids, but for the fashion elite.

If your not so sure on the giant bows, why not go for chic accessories. New into EC One is the Bow Collection, made from their very own workshop. Delicate bows in rose gold are perfect for a keepsake, pink in colour and so easy to wear.

So last night we were lucky enough to pop along to the rather fabulous 7 Deadly Sins, Stephen Webster event at EC One on Ledbury Road.

With Stephen Webster being such a well known jewellery designer, this event was always going to be a hit, with the jewellery elite turning up to see his very exclusive selection.

Being available for one night only the rings were displayed beautifully in single cabinets accompanied with their sin.

Koi, the Japanese restaurant in Palace Gate, provided  a delectable array of beautiful Maki sushi rolls and Laurent Perrier Champagne for the guests of this luxury event. Lucky old us, there was more handpicked drinks to compliment the evening, Chateau Campuget wines and Barros Ports (as early as 1978) were also kindly provided by Geoff Leong.
